‘Storm Front’ introduces us to the wizard-detective and quickly tells us all we need to know about the man. A lot of people read his door and label him as a joke or a loon. He’s neither but he is very broke, to the point that he has to play nice with timid housewives with missing husbands and come running when the Chicago P.D. calls on him to investigate a horrific double-homicide. Looking at the bodies, Harry knows that dark magic was used making it his problem to solve.

Butcher, for the past 15 years, has been building a fantastical world that lives in the shadow of ours. With each book, he devises new and intricate mysteries that only a man with Dresden’s skills could solve. James Marsters, an actor well-known for his genre work in shows like ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’, narrates the audiobook and gives Harry the gravitas he deserves. Since he’s been with the series for nearly every release, the fans must think so too.
